Week of February 28, 2011
Reading week kicked off to a great start today with the student's dressing as their favorite book character. I have never met so many interesting characters, as I did this morning. Tomorrow they will get to meet Frank Remkiewicz, illustrator of the "Froggy" books, on Wednesday, participate in Outside - Drop Everything and Read (please pack a towel for your child to sit on), on Thursday, be visited by community authors, Liesel Sole, Gina Longino, and Danielle Cameron, and on Friday join Miss Conroy's class for reading buddies and shop at the Oldie Goldie Book Fare.
The students will continue sharing their biographies in class by participating in the Hot Seat activity. So far we have been visited by many amazing people who have made a difference in the lives of so many. The students have had fun presenting, as much as we have enjoyed learning.

Enjoy your week.
