Week of January 31

This is a very busy week for us. Tomorrow we attend a play,“Madeline and the Red Hat" and Wednesday is Groundhog Day. Thursday is the 100th Day of School and Friday is Grandparents Day! The schedule is as follows: 8:30-9am Breakfast; 9-9:45 Program in the Janet Root Theater (yes, our second graders will perform); 10-11 Grandparents or Special Friends tour the school guided by the children; 12pm dismissal. Times are approximate. What a busy and exciting week ahead!

Some other important dates are as follows:
Conference Day - Feb. 10th
Town Meeting Presentation - Feb. 14th

We will begin Current Events next week and you will be receiving a schedule to keep track of the time your child will share.

SHHHHHHHH!!! Valentine's Day is coming up and to celebrate, we are asking that you send a Valentine's card to your child here at school. Please address this to your child, c/o Ms. O'Mullane. I ask that you keep this a secret. After a snack on the 14th, we will open these up.

I am in the process of finish writing, math and reading assessments that I will share with you on conference day.

Please continue exposing your child to good literature and work on the Do Anytime Activities that were included on the Unit 6 Family Math Letter.
