The 2nd Annual Paper Links is a fund raising opportunity to help our school's Relay for Life, which will be Friday, March 29, 2012. Relay for Life is a fund raising event to benefit the American Cancer Society and their efforts to help those diagnosed with cancer, as well as move closer to finding a cure to this terrible disease.
Students will be allowed to donate to our Relay for Life once a day starting March 1st and ending March 28th, in return for a paper strip. Each teacher is given two envelopes. One is filled with paper strips and the other is to be used for placing the donations. Each time a student makes a donation, they are given a paper strip to write or draw whatever they wish. We will attach the new strips to the class paper chain in our room. Each Thursday or Friday, the donations from the week will be collected and paper strips will be replenished. All the class chains from the Lower Division will be placed around the track on the day of Relay, to be seen by the entire school at the opening ceremonies.
